Vulamasango Singene

BRC launched the campaign that has come to be known as ‘Vulamasango Singene’ on 16 June 2002. To date the campaign has taken on a single issue, namely to fight for justice for communities unfairly excluded from the restitution programme, specifically those dispossessed by betterment in the former Ciskei and Transkei.

As BRC, we encourage donations towards ensuring that we obtain maximum impact. In terms of Section 10(1)(cN) of the Income Tax Act 58 of 1962 BRC is a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) which has been approved for purposes of Section 18(A)(1). To that effect, donations to the organisation will be tax deductible in the hands of the donors in terms of and subject to the limitation prescribed in Section 18A of the Act.
